The weekend was pretty low key, thankfully. Molly has been feeling good and has been busy painting, bowling, bathing, hide and seeking. Keeping us busy day and night she definitely shuts down the ward. Rebekah donated her NK (natural killer cells) yesterday a process that took three hours and will end up being about 10cc of cells. Molly was supposed to receive these cells today but it is taking longer to process them, so she will get them tomorrow instead. Hopefully there is a good amount of cells, they get in there and do there job. Search out and destroy those cancer cells. Kate and Sara have adjusted well into there new school which has been so welcoming and warm. Just what they need at this point. Today Kate and Sara had the chance to tell there new class about Molly, which resulted in the making of many, many beautiful cards, full of well wishes for Molly. Molly kept busy tonight looking at them and enjoyed them all. We are expecting her counts to bottom out in the next few days. Then we will wait for Rebekah’s cells to fill the empty space in her bone marrow and to begin to grow, reproduce and eventualy engraft. For now we will concentrate on her infusion of NK cells tomorrow and keep taking each day as it comes.

Hugs and prayers again. Good to hear that you are adjusting well down there. Prayers and hugs to Owen and Emma at home too!! I hope that the week goes well and that everyone is able to paint and play as much as possible! Here it is pretty cold. The kids are out cross-country skiing at school and daycare and on the weekends we are out sledding and skiing!! Hugs from Theodor, Hannah, Esther and Olivia too!
Good to hear your girl is hanging in there, doing well and keeping busy. I hope Rebekah is feeling better. Enjoy that Southern love and hospitality, it really is genuine and the people are good (I know, I married one of them!) I hope that school continues to be a place of support for Kate and Sara. I hope the upcoming days are not too hard on Molly (or her parents). Sending you guys much love; we think about you all often and can’t wait for the day we head to your blog and you say “it all looks good, we’re headed home”.
