The Family

Dave & Rebekah Campbell

Dave and Rebakah Campbell, met in 1999 in Victoria, BC where they were raised in their respective families. Dave graduated from Mt. Doug Secondary and Rebekah from Pacific Christian School. They subsequently married the very same year. While Rebakah came from a family of 3 children, Dave was an only child. They both agreed from the onset that their dream wish was to have a big family. They often joked about having 7 kids and naming the last one “Seven”.

Their marriage started like many other young couples in their 20′s, full of excitement and hard work as they melded their lives together. When they started to plan for children they hit a roadblock which necessitated the use of modern medicine and in vitro fertilization to get pregnant. This process took some time as it usually does for most couples who undertake this sometimes heartbreaking journey.

The Campbell’s were finally blessed with the birth of their twins Emma and Owen who were born in 2004. Next came Kate who was born in 2006 and then Sara, born in 2008. As the family grew so did their needs and Dave continued to work hard for a local Financial Institution and work side jobs like maintenance at a local golf course, teaching squash and hockey and even delivering news papers in the early mornings. He did what ever was needed to support his young family.

(1 boy and 4 girls) The family home is a busy place with Dave continuing to work odd jobs to supplement the family income and Rebekah spending her days doing what she loves the most, bringing up the children.
